A Resource for
Users & Consultants

Authentic knowledge for the Monday.com ecosystem.
No sales fluff. Just real-world implementations.

Monday Expert is an independent, practitioner-led resource for people who want to build Monday.com the professional way — whether you're an end user, a consultant, or a solopreneur entering the ecosystem.

This site focuses on how systems actually behave in real companies, not how features look in marketing demos.

"I went from running large teams at Fortune 500s to being a freelancer in the deep waters."

The Journey

I spent many years working in Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups in the United States, including roles at Bank of America, Upwork (Global HQ), and eBay.

After relocating to Bangkok, Thailand, I founded an IT consulting company that eventually grew to over 50 employees.

Later, I made the decision to leave the company I founded and pursue solo consulting.

That transition was jarring.

I went from C-suite strategy, budgets, and large teams to having no safety net at all. I entered what I call the deep waters of freelancing — where competition is fierce, credibility is questioned, and results are the only thing that matters.

It forced me to relearn how to build, deliver, and survive from the ground up.

The Salesforce → Monday.com Pivot

My original plan was to build a Salesforce consulting practice. I was deep into certifications and enterprise CRM architecture.

Then one day, I saw an ad for Monday.com.

Salesforce was clearly the gold standard — but Monday had something different: speed, flexibility, and approachability. I decided to test it seriously by attempting to replicate my own Salesforce enterprise CRM inside Monday.com.

I quickly ran into the limits of native automations, so I integrated Make.com.

Within a couple of weeks, I had built a CRM with roughly 95% of the functionality of my Salesforce system.

A comparable Salesforce implementation would have:

  • Cost $20k–$50k
  • Taken 2+ months

I built it in two weeks on Monday.com.

That was the moment everything changed.

I pivoted fully, got certified, and committed to mastering the platform — even when friends and family were skeptical. I also learned quickly that big-corporate thinking does not work for solopreneurs. Speed, pragmatism, and clarity matter more.

My Philosophy

I believe most Monday.com implementations fail because they focus on features instead of flows.

01

Simplicity First

If it takes more than five minutes to explain how to add a task, the system is broken.

02

Data Integrity

Dropdowns over text columns.
Connected boards over duplicated data.
Structure is everything.

These principles were refined in the trenches — across real teams, real revenue, and real operational pressure.

Everything I publish on Monday Expert is built around these ideas.
